Startups are a high-risk/high-return kind of investment. We often imagine them to be a super cool place to work with a lot of innovation, freedom, and growth. They generally have a good reputation associated with them. There are a lot of good reasons to work for a startup, but there are as many to not. You must take this decision carefully, just like you take caution before investing in a risky business. The idea here is not to discourage you to join a startup.
