Just one request to my readers

I believe writing is quite a difficult art to master. It requires a variety of skills such as creativity, language command, storytelling, influencing, self-motivation, etc. Maybe, some people are gifted with such talents, but I am not one of those. I heavily rely on learning, and my learning pretty much depends on the feedback from others.

I read all my articles/stories a few times before publishing them. A story generally goes through multiple versions. I also try to look at them from a critical angle, but maybe the inherent love for my own writing does not let me improve my craft after a certain point. And, then, I go and publish it! Once published, I am refreshing the stats of my stories a few times every day. I feel good when I see a clap, thumbs up, or a comment. The best part is the comments, as they contain more meaning than an icon. A few people are kind enough to let me know what they liked or disliked about my story. And this is when I learn, understand, and try to do better. But not every reader is not so kind. I understand that readers do have a short attention span, but I assume they decide in that span whether they liked or disliked the story. If as a reader you do, then I would ask you to please let the writer know. The writer has put in far more effort in writing a story, and they deserve to know how do you feel about their content.
